How to trade Head and Shoulder patterns?

FFIV is forming a classic head and shoulder pattern. From my research, it appears there are a couple of schools of thought on trade entry for this pattern.

1. Trade entry on the break below of the neckline of the pattern with volume confirmation
2. Trade entry on the break below the 50 SMA with volume confirmation

Would welcome thoughts on the above and and other trade entry rules that folks use?
