I am curious as to what trading time frame I should look into using for day trading corn futures? Should I be looking at 5 min 15 min 1hour etc. Also what indicators are the most reliable for this type of futures trading?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there some reason you're trying to daytrade grains? They don't seem to be really suited to it - only really active for an hour or so a day and much less volume than ES, ZN, eurodollar etc.

Given the short period of activity, I'd use 1min.

Grains would be before 1pm CST.

Why are you choosing grains?

I've monitored ( watched ) the Grains to the side of my other charts during the day, and the best timeframes I have found for them on a Day trade basis.... is to use Tick charts

I find that you get a more fluid and smooth chart on the Grains by using Tick charts

try a 1332 for Corn, Wheat and Soybeans

Let me know what you think
