There is definitely a multiple connection issue when using Chrome (SPDY) and the beta site. I am still checking into it. It could cause all kinds of problems including long load times or timeouts.

@ratfink I did see the hang but was trying to surf the site while downloading the files Mike had up. It was a solid hang which did not go away after trying to cancel download. Seemed there might have been http:// issues. Anyways maybe it's not same issues you talking about. ..or could be related
Thnx

Thanks for info, I just killed all local activity and Beta downloads and response time is back fine.
Have a good night, I had to stay up as we'd just watched a scary movie.

Using one of the http / network analyzer / profiler tool available on most browser platforms may help pinpoint the hang / download / spdy issues.
HttpWatch
httpfox plugin on fire fox
Chrome Dev tools https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/network
etc may help. I do not have the site url, if someone can provide the URL, I can do few tests for network / http performance.

That's because you aren't logged in on the other two browsers.

I have temporarily disabled SPDY, so those on Chrome should be able to now use multiple concurrent connections. I'm still investigating why this is happening, the configuration should be identical to that on the production site/server, but obviously something is different somewhere... (nginx config)

I may just leave SPDY off. SPDY is dead anyway with HTTP/2.
