One of the setups I use, it has different moving average periods according to the timeframe. So, in the 1 minute charts, the periods are 21 and 42. In the 5 minute charts, 17 and 34. The 15 and 60 minute charts use yet another combination.

I know this can be managed via chart templates, save a template for 1min, another for 5min and yet another for 15 and 60min charts. And then load the appropriate template when changing the timeframe. However, I would like to know if it's possible to automate this via ACSIL (either auto-loading the proper template or directly changing the periods of the MA indicator).

For example, on MetaTrader, using MQL4 I was able to write a "custom moving average" indicator that whenever I change the time-frame of a chart, the moving average periods are changed automatically. Would it be possible to do the same thing using ACSIL?
