Hi,

I am trying to code a strategy that requires ADX to be above a certain threshold and increasing

I coded like this:

StrongTrend = ADX (Length) > ADX //yesterday// (Length) and ADX (Length) > ADX_Level

How can I write the code for yerterdays ADX?

Tks,

vanzolini,

instead of calling the ADX function directly in your condition store the function result in a variable first. Then you can back reference this variable (using [1] for one bar back for example). You could also back reference the function, but with using the variable you spare one function call.

Regards,
