Here is the listing for the Process for importing an indicator into NinjaTrader:

Open any custom indicator with Tools > edit NinjaScript and press F5, see if there are any errors, before trying to import any new indicator.





There are 3 ways to "load" a new (or updated) indicator.

1. Use the import utility (does not always work for a bunch of reasons)
2. Create a new indicator and paste the XYZ.cs file into it from notepad
3. Open an existing indicator (with the same name ) and paste over it, again from notepad.

Finally consider editing the [COLOR=#0066cc]Quick Summary Post.[/COLOR] This would allow linking of indicators, other outside
sources, summaries, anything that you believe is helpful.

Over the next few weeks downloads should be finished and we hope the usefulness of the Wiki and Quick Summaries will become aparent.

I think I just saw a narrow range bar indicator on the Ninja trader forum. I think it may have been user selectable in case you wanted and NR7 etc. Should be able to find it if search under their indy section. Actually, I think I downloaded it and I attached it here. I hope it is what you wanted.

Question please: Seemed to me that both are talking about the same set up yet they have 2 different entry/exit strategies, ie the first one same as yours and the second one using the bar preceding the Inside/N4 bar. Appreciate your comments please. Thank you.

maybe those keltner channels are not such a bad filter after all.

interesting to see what happens when price goes through the lower or upper line. if the bar closes outside that line it's very likely the move will continue. it the price goes back in the channel and the bar closes inside the channel it's more likely to reverse.

Much information to digest. Good for a daily chart, but not for an intraday chart.

The reason that I posted the two links was to show different approaches to a similiar set up.......I don't have any experience with the different entries or exit strategies.

I've been exploring setting up 3SETUPS on other chart types apart from Minutes chart but couldn't get one until I did it in SBSRenko and tested it @ London open this morning (GMT+1).
