this is my first and I want to introduce myself...I am from Germany and want to start trading.
I haven't done any trading before and I was very impressed with all the content provided in this forum.
In the long term my plan is to do automatic trading. I have a strong background in mathematics
and programming (Matlab, C++, Python), which should be useful for such a task...let's see.

Being able to program is almost a requirement now (in my opinion). Since you are a python guy, you might want to checkout quantopian, its an interesting online platform and uses python as its core language. Best of luck!
