I've had a few White Castle burgers when I worked in NYC. I think they have the perfect ratio of bread/grease/meat/cheese/onion that somehow makes them greater than the sum of their parts.
In the south our equivalent is Krystal. Loved those things all my life. And I LOVE the soggy side. If it doesn't have a soggy side it isn't cooked right.
