How to make the formula Spread in Thinkorswim Scan? I am trying to apply this formula, but does not work.

def ask = close(priceType = "ASK");
def bid = close(priceType = "BID");
def spread = ask - bid;
plot scan = spread < 0.1;

Just limit your scan to 'Penny Increment Stocks", instead of "All Stocks". They have already seperated them into one category

Trying to get a scan for difference between ask and the bid, used the one in this post but nothing ever comes up, I assume I am doing something fundamentally incorrect and just not clicking something obvious….

Thank you for any info!

instead of

Code
def the_Bid = CLOSE(pricetype="bid");
just use

Code
def the_Bid = bid;
they are already PRE-DEFINED by platform!!
