What broker?
What data feed?
What Studies have you put on the ONE chart?
PS: I use SC with W10 on a six year old laptop - I have nowhere near 16G of RAM. I track 14 symbols and have 16 charts open with numerous Studies incl Overlays.

Two things:
You said you only had ONE 5min ES chart open - how are you feeding the 20ema of the 60 mins if you only have one chart.
Secondly, are these all 'out of the box' studies ie provided by SC themselves?

Okay.
Not clear I am understanding what the current position is re the 60min chart and the overlay - but never mind, try this:
Remove each Study one at a time and see if one of those is the problem.
START by removing the 60 min chart and the overlay study
Next try removing Pivot Points.
Then remove the remainder one by one in any order.
PS: duplicate a copy of your Chartbook first if you want to preserve the current configuration. But make sure that Chartbook is CLOSED before removing the Studies one by one from the other copy.

Sierra chart has their own support board with their engineers helping you if you just post your issue there.

I know what you are saying. But I don't understand why SC behaves like this.
I am checking with their support. thanks!

Maybe you should try SC with the same studies on another PC to see if it's your pc that is the issue.
