I'm certainly stupid but after almost a day of research I can't find how in a Custom Studies I can define an indicator in witch I can choose for example High(@) or Low(@) as the price to calculate it without having to retype my formulas ?

When I apply my custom study on my graph I can't change the price being used to make the calculation. I've tried through User Values, through Parameter but nothing works.

In all the system studies you have the choice of what you want has an input like high, low, mid etc... I can't reproduce that in my custom study.

(PS I'm trying to create a VMA variable moving average for CQG IC, now my VMA works but if I want a VMA of the low and one of the high I need to create 2 new custom studies)

if you're still looking for an answer, here's how I do it: go to formula, and open the tool box. there check the bar value button and pick which ever value, then click insert. there you have it. I have a screen shot attached where I was trying to insert a value in a demo study.

when you have price as a parameter in the study, you may also modify it by click the drop down menu; see attached screen shot

I spoke with Jim Stavros from CQG some time ago (very nice person by the way) and in a custom study you cant have the drop down list to chose the price but a little trick can replace it. You can create a variable called Price for example and do an if() test example if(price:=1, low(@), if(price=2,high(@) ...etc.
