Here an example of the programmed signals fr a possible Walzer:
The red diamonds show up when the previous bar body had more than 47 points AND the actual candle shows a body of more than 18 points in the same direction. Then the previous bar will be …

Exactly what @ratfink was digging for
It has been a while since I encountered your thread and read up on it, I actually made notes as well when reading through it! I got to page 187 to be precise! And yes, I have encountered lots of questions which already had been answered had they looked at your other previously written pages.
I want to congratulate you on your process of making this system consistently profitable.
As you said already, yes, the profit of 2015 is 50% of previous years.
But that's the thing with statistics, if it were a line of numbers you are missing the right (as in opposite to left) part of it! Namely the years of 2016/2017/2018/2019 to see if it was an exception over an equal time period or if maybe something could indeed be improved.
Luckily you always think about improving and came up with a method to do so.
You have my respect and hope you will continue to provide information in this journal to us!
Thanks ForcefielD for the nice remarks.
Last year started not really bad - but in second half some trades did not work during rough markets
as foreseen like in previous times. I admit to have made some mistakes too in choosing
the right rule when things were not really clear in the morning. That produced some negative results too.
In hindsight things were crystal clear.
From my experience a system can perform well over some time and I know of many systems
that suddenly failed to further perform. This is why I was searching for alternatives too.
Happily the 2015 result with both systems together I have to look forward to see new
good times to come. And with it some sort of proof that the systems work under nearly every
condition.
Yes, but this still means you use this system separately and the double V system as a whole 'new' system?
Or are you fusing them together to make one complete system? Or is that your ambition?
Because you have two different journals now, basically are you going to fuse the two or semi-fuse the two or leave them apart as 2 stand alone entities, like I said I have read till 187, maybe you could have answered this already!
Both systems work in their own world. This thread is about normal vola up to 150 points. And the Walzer is for days
that have a previous day range above the 150 points.
There are some special days where both systems may have one (or more) trade(s) on rare occasions.
The Walzer can be automated to work - the one trade per day system has to complicated rules and
programming seems tedious.
I will follow both systems separately - same for journals - especially for comparison reasons.
Hope this helps

First week - bad news:
This morning the Dax future came down to 9920 - quite a slump!
Looks like we see here a beginning of a longer correction.
High volume will push prices up and down - can be a danger for the
small traders.
On such days sit on hands (SOH) is not a bad strategy. Until the
new levels are accepted.
