Is anyone using a mobile (Iphone) application for NT 7 ? I need something simple to monitor open positions and close open trades if necessary. I found a few vendors:
Has anyone used their mobile app ? Is anyone familar with these two or, have recommendations on another mobile ap.
I appreciate any assistance. Again, i am just looking for something that I can be logged into on my Iphone and constantly watch strategy open positions and have the ability to close a position and perhaps, disable the strategy.
Maybe it's just me, but, I find operating the actual server via remote desktop not very optimal. For example, in order to close a position quickly, trying to move the cursor around the desktop of the machine you are logged into is very cumbersome. From time to time, I have even moved the cursor to the wrong spot and created issues. What I need is some way to be able to monitor and quickly react without having to fight with a remote cursor.
I guess if remote desktop is the best solution available, I'll have to stick with it. I was just hoping for something more nimble.
I don't have your iPhone specs but the iPhone screens are a bit too small for this purpose. I'm using a 5.5" Android phone and it's fine for simple actions in RDP. Of course it's not as fast as with using a real PC with a physical mouse/keyboard.
If strategies still running somewhere else then results can be, well, interesting
Sam, After reading your comments, I think it does make perfect sense to use the RDP. I will just get replace my iPhone with the larger screen iPhone. I should then be able to manage fine. many thanks

I use Splashtop and love it. Works perfectly IMHO. If I recall correctly it's built with gamers in mind and our demands graphically are less. I use it on this iPhone and on a Samsung tablet to login to my trade machine and it's four screens. Small learning curve but other than that all good. I purchased the Anywhere Access for $17/yr so on iPhone with cellular I can login and take care of anything with great responsiveness. I have the Personal addition on four PC's iPhone and tablet. On the Samsung tablet I have the additional hotkeys you can make which make everything that much easier. Thinking about soon having iPhone as a hotspot and connect tablet thru it too.
Ron This seem really robust. Do you know if the customizable hot keys could be configured to allow for commands such as connecting the NT coonecrion, Disabling or enabling strategies, Closing out positions ? I realize one can use the menus via the mouse pointer in NT to connect to the data feed. It just would be nice to have one step hot key to facilitate these commands.
Thanks for this, I currently use gotomypc but that has nothing for Chromebook which this checks, other Chromebook RDP's I've tried struggle with multiple monitor hosts.
