Ok so NT8 requires at least .NET framework 4.5 in order to run and installing 4.5 in wine is a PIA!!

So I found this little gem which is already packaged and allows for a smooth install.

The only issue is that after installation I can't get the app GUI to visually show itself when run. A few times a black window with the NT logo in the top left and then nothing.

I'm close though now so with the help of maybe a a few more knowledgable people on here this should be smooth sailing shortly.

so under screen settings the way i get it to appear is setting to virtual desktop mode.
