Looking for an indicator that will quickly count the number of ticks or points between 2 points that I select on a chart.

Or something similar to where I draw a rectangle and it tells me the distance in ticks/points between the high and the low of the rectangle.

You would need to download historical tick data and count # of tickets between 2 timestamps

@zbear ......i am using Sierra Chart, and there is a Tool called Chart Calculator that will do that plus many other things you want to display from 2 points you choose.
Posting Chart that shows Yellow lines representing 2 points with:
1. Ticks
2. Cash Value of the Move
3. Time/Duration of the Move
4. Price
5. Degree/Angle of the Trend/Slope
6. Volume of the Move

You can Display whatever you like, just have to set the Tool up.

I can count the of ticks now by manually subtracting the high point from the low point.

I was looking for a faster way by drawing a rectangle and it giving me the number of ticks between high and low point.
