Hello,

My trading strategy requires me to keep track of the number of ticks (or points) per bar. I don't need to know this value for all bars but only on certain bars in key areas where a trade set-up begins to formulate itself. Right now, I have the NinjaTrader 'ruler tool' handy on a separate chart and use that tool to measure whenever I need to (which is often).

Was wondering if there was an indicator wherein I can simply click on a bar and the value displayed automatically.

You can use the Range indicator, or the ATR indicator set to 1 period.

Good, I wasn't sure if you were looking for an indicator that displays the Open to Close range. In which case I haven't found anything yet.

Nah, this is close to perfect Stefan777, thanks again. You just eliminated one of my charts!

Only thing that could make it better if there was a way to get the values of the bars to display on the charts. No big deal though.

Right-click on the chart, select "Show Data Box"
