Hi Everyone,

I'm currently living in USA and planning on moving to Europe, either Germany or Estonia. Is anyone who is living outside of US trading any stock index futures markets in US and how is your connection? any latency issues and what broker are you using etc..

Thanks

Most of the larger brokers (e.g. IB) and data providers have own data (replication) centers in Europe.
So latency normally won't be an issue except for HFT systems. For HFT you would need physical collocation anyway.

Many people are.

There's high-speed fiberoptic cable internet throughout Europe, in cities, anyway. (These days, there are even people living in small towns in the Canary islands with 300mB/s cable internet connections.)

Unless you want to live somewhere pretty remote, you shouldn't have an "issue" at all, over this. Not over latency, bandwidth, reliability or a brokerage.

There are some Estonian members here (@lemons is a regularly-posting one) who will doubtless comment, but my understanding is that Estonia is just about the most internet-advanced country in the world. (Also a great place to live.)
