I've been consistently getting a couple of hours' research done each day on this site at lunchtimes and after work since the last posting.
Got plenty of notes from relevant threads: working through 'Ask any trading question'; and following 'ESP500 Spoo-nalysis'; and many notes from digressions onto other relevant threads on volume, psychology, and data/platforms/brokers, hardware and so on.
Not been asking much in the way of questions yet as I don't want to take people's time up if there are answers to be found on the site. But was glad to get some info from PeakGrowth on contracts/minute data.
Gone through a bunch of webinars - so lots more notes, and very impressed by FuturesTrader71 webinars. I need to check his site out thoroughly before long.
Incidentally, is it just me or does FuturesTrader71 sound a lot like Dustin Hoffman? (rhetorical question - no intention to start any conversation on this), but, FuturesTrader71, I need a proper name for you just for my purposes when discussing you at home and so you are 'Dustin' to us, no offence ok.
Anyway, his brokerage and its philosophy sure looks interesting and I'm wondering whether it would be appropriate really for a complete rookie to approach them when I eventually get trading or even onto sim...wouldn't want to waste their time and would not really want guidance at the outset, but it sure would be good to support such an outfit. Need to consider it and research their site, so we'll see.
