Getting time for a computer upgrade. I think I have lost my mind as I am considering hanging a couple of Big Screen TV's on the wall to be used as monitors.
Looking for some guidance as to what needs to be considered. Has anyone else tried this? What TV brands work best? What video cards? Any websites that explain the pro's and con's of going this route?
Any input would be appreciated.

Unless you can not see it. I used to have a laptop that had a 17 inch display with 1920x1200. Awesome, but it was pretty hard to see things like text.
Now I use 30 inch with 2560x1600. On the verge of too big for my workspace, but once you get used to that resolution, it is hard to go back to anything else.
1920x1080 is the min. Everyone realized they could make things cheaper by going from 1200 down to 1080 and still support HD. That 120 vertical pixels can be pretty important when you are putting charts up though.
