Good idea re Bund. I have looked at it a bit in the past and now with the time change it's a little bit easier to trade for me (being about 4pm here when it starts moving).
Anyone trading the Bund can give some feedback? Is it a nice instrument to trade?
I'm not trading the Bund at the moment but my experience has been good with the Bund and would trade it again no problems. Although my experience has been using spread trading you can easily trade this future outright. It moves plenty but not sure if it's necessary any better then FX futures. What about trading Asian Stocks?

I have traded a lot of gold around the Tokyo open but nowadays my main focus is on the 6A. It tends to hold the pivot levels much better than the more volatile instruments. IMO it is more predictable .. if it makes any sense to use that term in connection with daytrading

I am mostly intraday trading ES and CL and live in Australia.
My problem is that the hours (basically midnight my time to 8am) are killing me.
To anyone living on this side of the world, what can you recommend as an alternative that moves during Asian hours, is volatile and reliable to trade as ES/CL??
Thanks for help.
Come hang out at my place Mon-Fri.

So you exclusively trade 6A now in the Asian session? Also any reason why you trade it over spot AUD/USD?
Thanks.

Well, I'm still watching ES but rarely trade it. I also trade spot fx but since I take my entries from a 250 volume chart it works best with the 6A.

Cool. So you find there is enough action on 6A during Asia to trade it at that time? I assume the Asian session is your main trading time?

Yes, I typically trade from 7am Bangkok time and through the London open. It is quite common to see some decent moves in 6A during that time.

Are you looking at 6J as well or purely 6A?

No, but I'm watching a currency strenght meter on different time frames to get the bigger picture.
