Had a good laugh at the guy's view on taxation...

Would similar to say, the profit in a futures account is not taxed, until i get it out and deploy (spend) the money.
Not sure the tax authorities will follow his view...

In the US at least - capital gains tax's are only applied to assets that are liquidated. The only exception to this (without going through a special process) that I am aware of are futures which automatically receive mark-to-market treatment. ie taxing unrealized gains/futures are the anomaly rather than the normal.
