Not that good last Friday and today...old habits creeping in trying to go against trend at the wrong time. Let's see if I can cut those for small loss.
Change your setting to update every minute vs. daily or 15 min. With your setting you are basically just plotting a bar the same as the underlying time. I think that's why your columns are so tall and reversals few and far between. Keep in mind that for example on cl- a 10 cent x 3 box chart could potentially take 49 cents just to change columns- then it has to print a column of x or o above below the previos one to tell you anything- that's a lot of volatility for a day or swing trader. I look at a .05 x 3 box updated at one minute intervals and it does a great job of weeding out volatility and capturing the trend. On ES I use 1.25 ( maybe 1.5- not at workstation) x3 x minute and it is awesome for our timeframe. I may go to 6 or 7t on cl but you always have to keep in mind that a reversal can take 5x your box size less 1 tick.
Notice how my normal columns of X's and O's generally have only a few prints in the link below and yours have like 8 or 9 boxes in every one?
Thanks, those daily and 15 mins for king of bigger picture in my mind...I do you have another settings of 2x3 (In new SC PF drawings there is not time setting unless you are using old PF indicator).
This is 2x3 PF chart on CL with all other good stuff.
Crap!! I was in the YM trade from 415 but got out at 444...kind of expecting this bounce but thought Europe is going to dump again into close and someone came to desk to talk and I missed this move...
