Hi Folks,

Having difficulty figuring out how to keep the bars painted a certain color until a new condition is true. Here's my code so far:

Code
Condition1= close < low[1] and high <= high[1];  // bear
Condition2 = close > high[1] and low >= low[1]; // bull

If condition2 = true then plotpb (h, l, o, c, "Trend", cyan);
If condition1 = true then plotpb (h, l, o, c, "Trend", magenta);
When I plot it, it only paints the bars that meet those conditions. However, I would like to plot all the paintbars that follow the initial one that meets the condition, until the second condition is met. Trying to generate a trend paintbar picture.

Attached is an example of what I mean. Thanks for any help!
