So i was wondering about how many people fail as a traders, and was wondering what would happen if you were to magically change the buy and the sell. Lets say you have someone completely new to trading and teach them the basics of trading. Everything appears to be normal, but the buy buttons sells and the sell buttons buy the stop loss is a target and the target is a stop loss. The person does not know that things are secretly reversed. Would this person end up as a consistant winner by constantly losing.

@Big Mike or @sam028 can move it for you.

As for your original question I would only suggest: why not try it yourself on a simulated account?

I've just read the following which may answer your question

The other day there were two traders on here who were exactly opposite - one short and one long in the same instrument at the same time - both went home with $ that day. That's an eye-opener. One was scalping the other was holding for the swing. Asking questions on this open forum allows those learning to benefit from the experienced traders on here, who have always displayed a willingness to help. Plus I lost count of the number of times someone has asked a question, and I was thinking the exact same thing LOL.
