What I propose is a workaround:

what you could do is


  1. Increase your post view to 40 post per page (the maximum)
  2. sort the search results by "Last posting date"
  3. Now rather than scrolling page by page you can skip a few pages to get closer to the date you want as quickly as possible

Does it make sense?
