I notice that most traders using the forum use NinjaTrader for trading. IsBig Mike's Day Trading Forum Mostly for NinjaTrader users? If I'm scalping or swing-trading using other techniques or strategies should I even be here? I found the site while searching for "Day Trading Journals" on Google.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The forum was "seeded" with a bunch of NinjaTrader users. But the forum has a good number of traders using other platforms, and most of what is discussed applies to all forms of trading whether it be futures, equities, etc.
Always looking for more traders who are swing traders or trading stocks, so I hope you'll stick around and participate.

I have not used NT in over 6 months. Currently I only use thinkorswim...and use their data. Several reasons 1. no monthly cost for platform or data 2. Allows me to use Ubuntu operating system . I use very few indicators (inside bar, yesterday close/high/low and today's open and sometimes a Keltner Channel)
This site has a very big tent where folks use entirely different methods, platforms, brokers and trade various markets. There is room for all. Information is freely shared with the sole intent to help each other improve. I can state without hesitation I am a much better trader for my time here.
