As the title suggests, I'm new. For now I'm looking at trading futures around my job, that either means evening Asian session (probably NKD? From threads I've read on this forum already) or early morning (bund/bobl/mini dax, perhaps) once I think I've got a reasonable strategy going. I've been looking at a number of futures trading education resources as well. I'm likely to use Jigsaw at least for a while, the advantage of order flow reading seems legitimate to me, and a challenge. I have also looked at volume profiling with things like the acme analytics suite from rancho dinero, but there seems to be less educative material around those tools and methods.

Are there resources other than these that I should be aware of? I know there's a review of the noBSDayTrading courses on this site, and those certainly interest me as well. Scalping is something that is a draw to me.

Hi there Sulurith - welcome to the forum

In terms of resources, I think you identified the ones I would recommend to people who ask (Jigsaw/NoBS). There's perhaps some more videos/reading material from Guy Bower who used to work (or still does, can't remember) at Propex in Australia. He had a booklet explaining the basics of Depth of Market somewhere on the web which might be good.

The other product I'd recommend in the European session is the FESX (Eurostoxx 50), quite a thick market and tends to move in tandem with the DAX.

You may also want to look at the 6J in the afternoon. It moves okay between 6pm and 8pm EST.
