Does anyone know of an app which allow paper trading and most importantly, allows short selling equities (and possibly other financial instruments) on US and UK markets?

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Think or Swim will cover you for US equities. Interactive Brokers will have UK equities...but I don't think their paper trading has live data. I'm not sure, you'll have to check for the UK side.
These are a few that I recorded over time - I haven't used them for about 2 years so can't remember which are the good ones - You may have to do find that out yourself
