I am looking for an annual contest that has the "World's Best Trader". So this would be something well-established and long running that acknowledge as a well-recognized event and previous year's winner are listed and links to information on their approaches to trading.

I went to their website and it seems very thin.

i couldn't find a list of acceptable brokers and there is a list of past winners but nothing on them (like a paragraph or two about their approach).

There is a page called Prizes but no list of prizes and no list of what past winners won.

It's a very thin website for the time they say they have been doing it.
It doesn't seem you can use winning for your own promotion without their say so.

trading in a contest is like play poker in the world poker event. you play poker a lot different in cash game. what works trading for the world cup of trading may not work in the cash game. they are trading in sim taking chances they would never do with real money..
