Brokers?

Not sure if this is the right place for this or not.
Does anyone use a broker anymore?
I do partly because I'm technically illiterate. I just don't know how to navigate around computers like my daughter.
The other reason being I have a business relationship with them. I try to keep 90% of my account in margins. To me if its not I'm losing interest or I need to make a withdrawal. Having a relationship with a broker may cost more a trade. My way of thinking is the know me well enough that I won't make a trade that I can't buy if I have to. They called me one time, I forgot about a couple options I sold. They got me outta it but I did have to bring out the checkbook. They never did exit any of my trades.
I guess my biggest ? Is can one do that with a platform?
Kinda like banking. If I forget about a big check I wrote they call me an ask. I'll tell them I'll take care of it when I get home this weekend.
Maybe I'm just to old school.
