I am working on an external trading module that will create orders in NT7.

I am using the Ninjatrader.Client.dll

So far i was able to load the DLL in my external program and i am succesful in getting the cash value of the SIM101 account.

However if i create a new order, nothing happens.
There is no error (return = 0, which means no error)

There is no error in the NT event log there is also no trace of the order.

Anybody did this before and has a clue how to make it work ?

Thanks

Have it working now.. as always.. easy once you know

You need to 'wink-on' the ATI function under file.
I was puzzled because the other calls seem to work and it does not return any error.

So from the calling application there is not a lot of control to know of the option is 'on',
would have been better if an error was returned.

Now i can inject orders into NT from my external module.

Thank you very much for your comment.
Please, how can I 'wink-on' the ATI function under file?

Regards.

You need to go to :
Tools -> Options -> General -> ATI and choose the account

Then you can activate ATI simply under File, however i'm not sure about all the licenses and any restrictions
that may apply. I have a multi broker fully paid license and it's available in my license, not sure about other
trial and limited versions... to be tested...
