In this thread i want to post regularly analysis on AEX and trade ideas

AEX is the Dutch index of the Amsterdam exchange (part of Euronext)
AEX is the Index.

The following instruments exists :

- Future (monthly expiry)
- Options on the Index (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)

19/05

Today is expiry of the monthly (May), this means the market can make some unusual moves due to
expiry and roll-over.

OI for the May options : 55465

Daily on : AEX future

Yesterday's pattern was a spinning top (neutral patter, market undecided)
The AEX is influenced by the bigger brother DAX

The DAX market maker pricing looks like we may go slightly higher for the day

I will go long DAX/AEX above yesterdays high

Closed AEX at 525.85 (+12 ticks)
Closed DAX at 12650 (+14 ticks)

My timing was bad,

I built this super gun, but still need to learn how to handle it,
I almost shot my own feet today

I didn't take any trades on AEX / DAX today
My bias was long, but that didn't work out well, at the end the US equities surged
but the market maker pricing was biased 'short' going into the holiday, i guess
there will be some 'scramble' at the next open to adjust positions...
