We spent today taking out some 25-year-old bolts from a couple of 5.10 routes in Rattler Gulch in western Montana. We replaced the manky old bolts and hangers with 1/2" glue-in bolts that should be good for another 25.
A great give-back to the climbing community day, but damn, it was hard work.
That's me with the drill hanging off my harness. Long day in the saddle.
Mosedales news seem to be false. As Sherpa Pasang Tensing who was already 11 times on Everest Summit describes
after a new climbing this week - the Hillary Step is still there.
Another news from Everest about "four bodies found on 7950 meters in a tent" looks like fake news.
6 sherpas were on the way to search a body of a climber at the south saddle told that they have found 4 bodies in a tent.
But now this is not sure either.
