Either you can use multi time frame EMA indicator from the download section https://nexusfi.com/download/ninjatrader-7/indicators/939-download.html?action=jump or you can use a regular EMA indicator and simple equation:
Period1 * TimeFrame1 = Period2 * TimeFrame2
i.e. for example EMA(35) on 15 minute chart is equal EMA(175) on 3 minute chart (35*15 = 175*3)

Ok, so ive done this for years.op
1[ open 1 min chart
2[go to data series,open a 5min chart.set 5min chart to line on close instead of candlestick.Then color for line on close chart to transparent.
3]make sure 5min chart is in panel 1 with 1min candlestick(or wahatever you use)
4)when you add the 5min ema, it will prompt it to the 1min...change to 5min,and setting on close.The added 5min ema should be in
the panel labelled "same as inputseries
this should do it

Best way would be to use the multi-timeframe ema indicator as has already been mentioned. Using scaling is not accurate and adding multiple data on the same plot is cumbersome imo.
