Hello everyone. With tradestation is it possible to scan for a cross of the zero line with the PPO 5,30,1. I can't figure this one out

Leatherneck,

I don't know what you mean with PPO, but you might have to code something within your indicator that the Scanner can pick up when the indicator crosses 0. A plot that you set at that moment and reset it when there is no cross or an alert for example. Otherwise the scanner might not be able to detect the crossing.

Regards,

ABCTG

You can create an indicator that plots 1 on a cross up of PPO through 0 and a -1 on a cross down through 0 else it plots 0. Then in the scanner you scan using your binary indicator equal to 1 or -1. If you need more help let me know. I've done this sort of stuff in TS before.
