I remember coming across an indicator a while back that will plot time-based candles on a tick chart for a visual aid and I am having trouble tracking it down. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, it would be helpful for a project I am currently working on.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Technically the MultiPeriodCandles is not exactly what I was looking for..
The multiperiod candles allow you to choose a set number of periods to display so for example, if you wanted to overlay a 10-minute bar on a 1-minute chart, you would set to 10 periods. This was sufficient for what I was testing at the time but it would be helpful if there was an indicator that would allow you to display minute based bars on range or tick charts.
I was replying to my own comment on my own question as to not waste anyone else's time. If there was the ability to delete content on this site I would have just deleted it.
See that search bar thing in the top right corner.... Go for it
Try the bar status by ninzaco, its free and available for nt8 and nt7. Its working for all types of charts, and its work perfectly with ticks, that how i use it, and you can of the number of ticks left, and even a little visual thing to see what's the state of the bar.
I think if you want to download it, you need to create a account by putting an email, but i have the NT8 version, you can download it from the post.
