I have been searching for Commitment of Traders type information for large trader sentiment ( Commitments of Traders - CFTC ) for the DAX futures and have found nothing. I have searched the Eurex website without luck. Does anyone know of a source? or is it black hole? Thanks!

JohnS

Frankfurt seems to have a lot of downtime during the summer lull - so the report is early today:

Yet the jump of private investors compared with last week is remarkable while institutional interest is falling.

Regarding the method there is no exact match since regulation is completely different (including disclosure).

The CFTC was established in the 1970s in order to righten the chaos of ~50 years of permanent trial and error
after the 1921 Future Trading Act. But after that, not a single aspiring market in the world came up with the idea
of copying that model

Thanks @choke35! Too bad the EU hasn't developed a COT-like reporting tool....the Sentiment is a tea-leaf guidance
