I would like to launch some non-indicator, non-strategy processes before any indicators or strategies are loaded. I understand there is a way to do this in NT 8 perhaps, but not NT 7.

I'm able to make custom classes and edit them (.CS files in the Indicator folder, but not Class Indicator), and compile them, and a miracle, they execute fine.

But, I want to use these non-ninja classes to do things like load internal/memory based List (tables), from SQL database, connect to XMPP server, et cetera, BEFORE any other Ninja Code is executed.

Ninja support said they cannot suggest a way to do this for NT 7.

Any ideas?

Maybe create a process outside NT and do a JSON call to that module from your indicator / strategy ?

I decided to port my strategies to NT8 and for now leave the chart indicators / manual trading support code in NT7...

NT8 seems to have the infrastructure (AddOn) to hook the Control Panel startup.

probably OnWindowsCreated() will be the hook in an AddOn??
