I have downloaded amaSuperTrendU11 for Ninjatrader 8 from this Forum.
Right now using default parameters and changing them results in Curve fitting.
I am a Beginner on this platform and not from coding / programming background.
I don't have idea as to how to make a Strategy in Ninjatrader 8 or how to write a code or logic in Strategy.
It will be of great benefit if someone can provide me - AmaSuperTrendU11 Strategy file (.cs) for Ninjatrader 8 ?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Oh, fine, BTW Source of RT Data for NT8 ? And Why do u prefer above Super Trend as a Strategy .CS file?
bcoz i m also searching for some algotrade purpose for NT8.
Until now there was an issue when the amaSuperTrendU11 was used with the strategy builder of NT8. This issue would not affect any strategies manually coded.
However, any strategies created with the strategy builder and using the setting "True_Range" (default setting) for the offset formula would not compile.
The bug of the strategy builder has now been fixed with the release of NinjaTrader 8.0.12.0, also check for issue #12350 under release notes.
Strategies created with the strategy builder from the amaSuperTrendU11 will now compile as expected.
