Hi everyone,

For those of you that use NinjaTrader, are you also using/paying for the Market Replay $49.00 annual subscription? If not, what other alternatives are out there that you using for trading practice?

Thank you for sharing!

I think the best option is to just download the replay data yourself. You can typically go back 8 months to 1 year and get it all by just doing the following:

Connection > Kinetic / End of day free
Tools > Historical Data > Market Replay > Load > Get Market Replay Data> Select Instrument / Select Date (Download)

I have around 4 years of data on all the instruments I trade just updating myself every so often.

Another option, is to just record the data yourself. If you have access to live SIM you can just enable recording and it will create a replay file for that instrument / day.

Happy Trading!

Ian

In the analytical world there is no such thing as art, there is only the science you know and the science you don't know. Characterizing the science you don't know as "art" is a fools game.
