I'm actually building my first strategies over X-tick charts and when you do an optimization it run only on your actual chart setting so have to manually test and optimize the same strategie over a 30 tick chart, 100 tick chart etc...
I was wondering if it would be possible to modify the number of tick by code in order to insert it as an input and run it in to the optimization process .... that would allow to understand to best time frame/x-number for our strategy..
I'm almost sure that the answer is no... but you never know :-D
Thanks,
David

I am afraid this is not possible within Multicharts. The closest thing would be to create "virtual bars" out of one tick data within your code and compute your logic on these bars.
