Long story short. Currently working with NT8 as opposed to Sierra for the time being. For one of my strategies I need to enable hot keys. When I try to enable Buy and Sell orders, I receive (All hot keys are inactive when a modal form has focus)

I have read the help articles from Ninja Trader and I must be missing something. No matter what I try I can't record my short cuts to trade.



My process of enabling the hot keys.

Tools--->Hot Keys----->Order entry. I don't have any other windows open.

Turns out I am stupid. My macro's for trading where confusing the hot key entries. It can only handle so many at once ha!
