I have an indicator that plots red/Green dots based on standard deviation, to determine market direction.
How can I have the indicator change the chart background colour based the indicator colour?
Is there a simple line code that I can add in the script to have it change back ground colour and match the indicator?

Without seeing the actual code, the answer is probably 'No," just because, basically, who knows what it's doing, and throwing in something may not be the right thing at the right point in the code.

But:

(a) If you look in the NT Help file, you'll find this: https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/en-us/backbrush.htm , or this: https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/en-us/backbrushall.htm -- there are examples there of setting BackBrush, which is what you need to do.

(b) If you post a request in the free indicator thread, @cory or someone else who knows what they are doing may change it for you, You'd have to actually attach the indicator so they can see what to do to make the change. Link to the thread is here:
