Webank (Italian Broker) allow to place INTRADAY margin orders ( trades must be close within the day) on futures with a LOWER margin requiremente than regular margin.
EXAMPLE: To buy a MiniDax the regular margin is 4500 Euro but if you buy it as an INTRADAY MARGIN order the margin required is just 1000 euro.
I discovered that (by using webank as broker )Actually MC only have "DAY" orders and there's no way to setup and "INTRADAY" order and use 1000€ margin. The only order that can be send is a regular "DAY" order wich require 4500€ just for a minidax.. so quite expansive and problematic if you want to trade a system with more than 1 minidax contract .... and please note I didn't mentioned the Big DAX .. can't imagine how big the margin required will be...
I talked with BOTH sides... Multichart is the most responsive side that has promptly replied to me and asked to create a Feature request (https://www.multicharts.com/pm/public/multicharts/issues/MC-2456) and they contacted WEBANK in order to find a solution. Webank is the most difficult side to contact because every person that I try to talk about this matter points me to another person and things are getting delayed .....
Anyway... If you are an MC user ( and maybe a Webank user ) can you please vote this feature request at the links above?
