basically I've two live accounts. I trade one through Sierra Chart, and the other through MT4.

I'd like to place trades on my sierra chart account and having them automatically copied/mirrored in my MT4 account.

does anybody know how to do this?

I don't know if that is possible, but you can have multiple accounts on Sierra Chart and trade them simultaneously. If you want to trade x contracts on one account and y on the other, then all entries need to be in multiples of z=x+y. For example, you trade 2 on account A, and 3 on account B, then you would have to open a trade with 5, 10, 15... etc. contracts. Scaling out is not a problem, as the proceeds will be allocated proportionately.

You can see how this is done here:

The most efficient way to "copy" trades between one platform and another is via their API.
You need to see whether your brokers work with Sierra. You should be provided with UN and PW that work with both.
In my experience, most MT4 companies are just marketers and have ZERO knowledge as far as platforms.
They pay per machine ID to MetaQuotes and that is where their knowledge starts and ends.
Maybe your broker is different.

MT5 and Sierra could talk to another if you have a Futures trading account. So your CQG credentials could work on both, and if you need both open while trades are reflected in both as well, then you need two set of credentials leading to the same account. I hope this helps.

This could be a good idea, I read that FXCM and LMAX are forex brokers with Sierra.

Does somebody know if it is possible to trade a MT4 account by Sierra on FXCM or LMAX?

I am interested to trade a MT4 account by Sierra, not a Sierra account with different credential

thanks for your reply
