I'm having a bit of a problem deciding how to go on regarding NT8 and its datafeeds.
With opening an account with the NT brokerage, I get to use NT8 for free (with higher commissions), right?
But how about those datafeeds?

I would like to daytrade the Eminis.
I've heard one can subscribe to instrument specific datafeeds for 5$ or so?!
Or is there even a totally free option I could use?

I really don't want to subscribe to their 60$/mo plan in the beginning. Is that the only option?

Yes, you get NT8 for free with an account with them. It does have some limitations like not having access to the OrderFlow suite of indicators. That only comes with a lifetime license.

Here is a screenshot from the section where you choose your data plan. You can get away with as little as 7 bucks a month. Which is cheap compared to many plans out there.

It's through Ninjatraders Continuum. Haven't had any issues with it over the last 2 months since I opened the account. Very stable.

Yes, you choose what data feeds you want. They will send you a link to the page I got the screen shot from and you check which feeds you want.

The whole process from start to being able to trade takes about 1 week so be prepared for that.

And you get historical data with that? I guess not.

Yes. You get historical data. Although you get historical data for free with NT, even the free NT version.
