Anybody use the OnDemand feature? recently?

I use this feature to test out my strategies and found it incredibly useful in the past. However, recently, it is becoming ineffective. I use the charts on the left and the ladder on the right. Well.. the ladder is giving me a price that is VASTLY different from the chart. I have a screenshot of /YM with the ladder at 25831 and the chart is at 25802.

Anyone else have any experiences - good or bad ?

I’ve experienced exactly the same thing. It seems you have to use ES or SPY or a very liquid security. A lot of funk when I try to use CL or GC. It helps to just stay within the day range it defaults to rather than typing in some random day. It’s not as useful as I’d hoped so I usually just switch to paper trading and do it in real-time. Of course this doesn’t help on Saturdays.

I use /YM which though not as liquid as /ES, should be pretty liquid. If it only works for /ES, then this feature has very limited use for the broader public.

It feels to me that the investment in the platform has steadily decreased over the last couple of years or so.

Trying to find out if there are other platforms that offer something similar (simple all inclusive platform and similar or lower fee) with robust / functional market replay / ondemand feature.

I am trying Ninja Trader, but it seems a lot more complex and it seems to require me to buy a) data feed and b) different indicators separately.
