Hi Guys,
I need some help with the proper coding of a simple idea in Tradestation Easy Language. Basically, I want to exit at a specific time and after a specific number of days since entry. Now Multicharts has a nice function of dayssinceentry which does the job. The same does not seem to be available in Tradestation. How do I create a similar function on TradeStation, please. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and take care all.
Cheers!!!

In Tradestation you can use barssinceentry.

mmarwaha,

you could for example compute the difference in days between BarDateTime of the current bar and the value EntryDateTime of your last entry. Note that subtracting one DateTime from another will result in a TimeSpan and you could then use the Days property to get you the total days.

You could also compute the difference between Date and EntryDate, but the first approach appears to be more convenient.

Regards,

ABCTG
