Greetings all,

How would I code a custom Pivot Oscillator, like this into Ninja Trader 8? It is not one of the indicators in the drop down menu, so I'm assuming it is not in the system.

// PIVOT OSCILLO onchart PRC DID Pivot Oscillator – ProRealCode – prorealtime programming
pivot = (HIGH+LOW+CLOSE+OPEN)/4
mm = AVERAGE[mmperiod,MAtype](pivot)
RETURN mm as “pivot oscillator”, customclose as ” customclose ”
// Variables :
// mmperiod = 14 perso = 20
// MATYPE = expo perso = triangulaire


I'm still evaluating the software to see if I like it, before I fund the account. So far I like it.

It's not in the default list as you pointed out, you could search https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/ to see if something like this exists. Be sure to check both sections of this site, the main commercial 3rd party tools and add ons and the User App share which is user created indicators etc. If that fails, you could see if a kind soul would program that for you. Based on the logic provided, it's a very quick and simple project. Ten minutes for someone with reasonable NinjaScript skills.
