Good to know. I've got 3 questions to ask if you don't mind
Does it help you identify imbalances at certain levels as I tend to do that manually by analyzing the time & sales?... If so, I assume that it will help you identify reversal points earlier? Are you able to place the footprint chart onto the normal chart (I have a bunch of key levels drawn on my charts)?
I recently upgraded to the lifetime license. I have to say order flow is still something I'm working on to add to my strategy, as it wasn't what I've been trading with. The cumulative delta I think is definitely something that I see helping me once I master it. Volume profiling was always available through third party addons anyway so no bonus there. I did want to comment though that the ability to have multiple chart tabs on one screen (you know what I'm referring to) alone has been worth it for me. There are a few other features that aren't really advertised that just make life a whole lot easier as well. If you trade multiple instruments you can have tabs for those on the DOM too without having to switch back and forth between each instrument's charts and DOM. Chart trader is also nice if you like to visually see your orders exactly as they line up on the chart. To summarize, for me it was a quality of life upgrade, more-so than for the suite. The OTHER things that come with the upgrade are what I was after, such as lower commissions.
NT has what is called volumetric bars. You can customize it to show a volume profile style. I attached a screen shot to this reply. If i'm understanding your question correctly, you can create a footprint chart from the volumetric bars that NT OrderFlow+ offers. The NT platform is very customize-able. It also give you options to change the imbalance values, default set at 1.5 or 1.8.
It does help me with possible reversal points. I use it all the time and love it. I hope this helps.
